Urgent Needs

Vision

God has given us a plan for feeding Africa. We have it firmly in place and it is working. Sons of Thunder Ministries (SOT) was birthed in 1996 as a result of God’s direction to feed Africa, physically and spiritually, through the enabling of the Holy Spirit. God blessed us with a miracle – the purchase of a beautiful 10,000 acre farm near Livingstone, Zambia.

As we began developing our plan for effective agricultural procedures, we were led by the Lord to establish multiple ministry programs on the farm in order to meet the needs of the people. We are currently operating an agricultural training program, a grade school, a clinic/medical ministry, an orphanage, a Bible College, and an outreach program, including evangelism, church planting and feeding/meeting the needs of the hungry and starving. We are expanding our ministry into other areas of Africa, having recently begun a work just north of Lubumbashi, located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We recently obtained another farm in Kasama, Zambia, with our hearts set toward further expansion as God directs, opens doors, and provides.

Sons of Thunder is a God-fearing, Jesus Christ exalting, Holy Spirit filled ministry. We are unabashedly, unswervingly evangelical. We are an independent ministry that works closely with other churches and ministries while maintaining positive relationships. We are a totally faith-based organization. Because of the love of Christ, we feed and care for anyone in need, regardless of their faith. We share the full gospel of Jesus Christ on every occasion.

Our president and director, Reverend Jerry Beall, is an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Church, where he has served for over 20 years. Reverend Beall pastored for 33 years following his graduation from Asbury College and Asbury Seminary, before assuming full-time leadership as President of Sons of Thunder. SOT is a fully organized 501(c)3 non-profit organization operating in the state of Maryland under the title of Beall Ministries, Inc., doing business as Sons of Thunder. SOT is a member in good standing of ECFA, and our finances are audited annually by the prestigious accounting firm of Capin Crouse of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ministry support comes from individuals, churches, organizations, grants, and foundations.
