The Great Commission (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:18-20) is the very reason for Sons Of Thunder Ministries’ existence. We are therefore faithfully following the Great Commission mandate and going into the world and preaching and living the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we do, we have learned that we cannot simply say “God loves you,” and not respond with the love of God that helps feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and in general meets the needs of others. SOT reaches out by telling people everywhere that Jesus is God’s only plan for their salvation and that the Bible teaches “Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no man comes to the Father but through him.” We have learned that “feeding Africa,” goes beyond just physical needs for food, but encompasses the entire person – including the heart, the family and hope of a better future.
SOT constantly reaches out through evangelical campaigns to share the gospel of Jesus, along with food and relief for all the needy. It is a wonderful thing to see a life changed, people fed, medicine provided, and hope placed in people’s lives again.
